ALL members/leaders of dojos will need to re-apply for a dojo. This also means that ALL dojos (except for Master, obviously) are currently empty and open for membership. Feel free to apply for more than one dojo.

These are the dojos. If you want more information on any of them, please go to the appropriate forum.

Element Dojo

Doubles Dojo

Duncan

Little Cup Dojo

Strategy Dojo

Ryu

UU Dojo

Ninja

Ubers Dojo

Tobi

I will update this thread to show which dojos are taken AND which dojos are being applied for at the moment.

If you're interested in running a dojo, please fill out this form and PM it to me:

Name:
Which dojo are you applying for?
Skill level with that particular metagame/style of battling:
Shuten Dojo Tournaments/Projects participated in:
Which dojo are you a member of currently (or plan to join)?
Do you have reliable WiFi access (this is mandatory to be a sensei)?

The staff won't make any decisions regarding dojo ownership for at least three days, to give all old leaders a chance.

Question: Are we restricted to one Dojo membership at a time? Cause otherwise, I wouldn't mind applying to a couple... XD

Yes, technically.

However, I think we may have to allow membership at two dojos for now. I was going to be bringing that up, but I'm waiting until at least some of the dojos are taken.

Just giving an update...

So far, the following dojos haven't been applied for at all: Element, Little Cup, and Ubers.

So if someone has interest in one of those metagames, applying now would almost guarantee your placement there (provided you have wifi and such). I know someone mentioned to me that they wanted Ubers, so we should end up with a sensei for that dojo. Element and Little Cup still need people, though.

I may end up changing Element into NU...

Ok, I've updated the post to show who's been awarded a dojo so far. If you didn't get the dojo you applied for you'll get priority on the next one you try to get (if you decide to try again, anyways).

Also, if no one applies for a dojo, it'll probably be changed to NU.

Post in those forums, don't just post here XD. And you can't battle on WiFi at all? I don't think Sage wants this to turn into a Shoddy Battle forum, lol.

I just have teams ready on Shoddy.

Also, Little Cup is /NEVER/ fun.

It's like rape. You can try to make jokes about it, and say thats it's not so bad, but we both know we hate it and that the people who do it need to get A) Cunt Punted, or B) NutsGrabedbyacrazybitchandhavehermakeafist.

Damn, these things sure changed a lot from way back when, don't know how I feel about that.

Anyway, been playing a lot of Platinum, transferring my Pokemon from Diamond over to it, I could pick up Element or something. My DS Lite and the xbawkz hueg old DS connect to each other and battle perfectly fine, so it seems like it will work with others.
